On Twines and Tangles

An intertwining——

of threads, of minds, of hearts, of memories, of fate, of destinies, of souls.

Everything is connected, everything happens not without reason—

a cause and effect, whether from an action you take or ones that you’ve left hanging in silence.

All I’ve experienced of this uncertain journey up to now,

no matter that my existence is momentous

or that the roads ahead might still be a long and perilous one,

is that what you need is already

in you—hope,

with you—loved ones,

around you—gratitude.
