On Waves and Floating

June was a wave.

Or well, it reminded most of us that life is like one.

That at one moment you feel like you’re on top of the world, yet at the next moment you’re rolling down into deep waters.
That happiness and sadness go hand-in-hand.
That within just a snap of fingers, you could be laughing with joy then tremble with tears.

But just like a wave, when it hits and you brace yourselves and (if you’re one of the lucky ones) you’ll learn that you have the right things (and people) to hold onto to keep yourselves from drowning.

And to anyone that’s currently bracing themselves through a wave, I hope that this one doesn’t stop you from riding the future ones to come.

I hope you’ll be able to cherish all the right ones to hold onto while you’re at it.

I hope you’ll float.
